Yoga in the Garden
May I be at ease. May my heart be open. May I be filled with the beauty of this world. This is one of my favorite mantras.
And this Saturday, a few seekers will embody this mantra as we meet to experience ease, heart opening, and the stunning beauty of nature at the Winter Park home of Brian and Myrna Canin. They have graciously allowed us to use their spectacular outdoor space to practice yoga in a powerful way.
Under a big blue sky, looking out at the serene Lake Sylvan, surrounded by lush green of the landscape, we will take time out of our busy weekend to be at ease, to breathe mindfully, and experience the heart opening that happens when we practice yoga. We will get very still, allowing new feelings and new perceptions to bubble to the surface of consciousness. We will move slowly and attentively, watching how the body begins to calm down, release tensions, receive guidance. This Saturday, April 23, we give ourselves two hours to nourish body and soul. We stoke the fires of our life force, renewing our capacity to live with passion and purpose.
It's Yoga in the Garden!
We'll do a walking meditation, a gentle yoga practice, AND massage therapist Abiola Washington will be on hand with his massage chair to offer free massages. And of course, no LifeArt Studio event is complete without the yummy delights of Kristen Dolphy of Black Dog Cafe & Catering. We conclude the morning with delicious and nutritious smoothies and protein bites. Pure joy.
The Canin's pool deck is capacious, so there's plenty of room if you'd like to join us, this Saturday, April 23, at 9:30. I would love to have you at this very special yoga event. You can register at lezlielaws.com.
